William Larry West, age 65, of Goldsboro, NC, passed away in the early morning hour of Friday November 8, 2024, at his home.  Born in Wayne County to the late William Lloyd West and Helen James West.  He was also preceded in death his sister Sherri Godwin

William is survived by his sisters, Kay Walker, Linda Daniels (Foy); also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Wendy Martinez, David Davis, Foy Daniels Jr. (Lisa), Eric Daniels, Roger Daniels, and Amanda Nalley.  Numerous great nieces and nephews also survive him.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating; Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.  The family will receive family and friends Monday Evening between the hours of 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of his niece, Wendy Marinez 108 Fox Dr. Goldsboro, NC.
