William Raymond Edmundson

William Raymond Edmundson age 76, passed away Wednesday morning at his daughter’s home in Raleigh, NC. Born Wayne County, NC, he was the son of the late William Rufus Edmundson and Julia Bell Stocks Stillwell and husband of the late Betty Edmundson. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Graveside Services, with Military Honors, will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Jim Willoughby officiating.

William is survived by his daughter, Shannah Edmundson; his son, William Scott Edmundson and wife, Lezer Renee; brothers, James Bowden “Jacky” Edmundson and Robert Lee “Bobby” Edmundson; two grandchildren, Austin Bryan Howell and Hunter Holden Howell. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Peewee Bennett Burroughs and Peggy Joyce Alphin.
