Wesley Tyrell Young

Wesley Tyrell Young, age 56, passed away on Thursday at his residence. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Marion Young and the late Elwood Young, Jr. and brother of the late Patrick Young. He was an IT specialist and a mechanic.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 5th, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Sandra Filson officiating . The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

In addition to his mother, Wesley is survived by his daughters, Krystal Young, Pamela Young, and Leslie Young; a brother, Francis Young and his wife, Re Neeta; a sister, Valarie Young Taylor and her husband, Brian; an aunt, Kathy Sheppard and her husband, George; an aunt, Shirley Young; two grandchildren, Sarenity Young and Kori Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
