Obituary
Wendy Carol Cruise Perkins, age 63, of Goldsboro died Thursday February 2, 2023, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Born In Greene County to the late Iris Tyndall Cruise, her husband, Corky Perkins proceeded her in death. She was a graduate of Southern Wayne High School, and a delivery driver for Le Bleu water company for many years. She also worked with the family business at Corky’s High-Performance Motors. Wendy enjoyed drag racing, hunting, fishing, and talking junk to her friends while enjoying a cold beverage
She is survived by her son, Steven Brian Perkins and fiancé Bethany Varnell of Pinetops; granddaughter, Bryleigh Carsyn Perkins; sisters, Susan Davis (Mark) of Pikeville and Rose Medlin (Roy) of Dudley; and brother, Johnny Cruise of Mount Olive.
The family will Celebrate her life privately.
