Tyrell "Terry" Boyd Stevenson

Tyrell “Terry” Boyd Stevenson, 62, of Goldsboro passed away on Thursday at his residence. He was the son of the late Boyd and Margret Stevenson, and husband of the late Joyce Stevenson. He was retired from the United States Air Force and was in car sales. Mr. Stevenson was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Princeton.

A small graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Baptist Church cemetery in Princeton with Rev. Stewart Cauffman officiating.

Mr. Stevenson is survived by his daughter, Theresa Weeks of Mt. Olive; sisters, Chris Carroll of Modesto, Ca and Kathy Michener of Ceres, CA; sister-in-law, Gloria Bowden and husband, Don of Lexington, SC; a brother-in-law, Robby Johnson of Raleigh; grandchildren, Joshua Womack and wife, Chelsea of LA, Joey Womack and wife, Gabbie of KY, and Heather Allen and husband, Gavin of LA; several nieces and nephews; and his dog Roscoe.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie and a son-in-law, Eddie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
