Susan Petty Obituary

Susan Renae Gentle Petty, age 78, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Wayne/UNC Healthcare. Born in Wilkesboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edmond Perry Gentle and Ethel Faye Joines Gentle. She was the wife of the late Gary Henry Petty.

No services will be held at this time.

Mrs. Petty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Gary & Lisa Petty; her grandson, Chase Petty; her brother, Tom Gentle; her sisters, Becky Anderson and Peggy Joines.
