Stephen Wayne Denning

Stephen Wayne Denning, age 75, of Mount Olive, died on Tuesday at Wayne UNC Hospital. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late James and Cassie Sutton Denning and brother of the late Earl Denning, Luby Denning, Frank Denning, Joe Denning, Betty Denning and Evelyn Denning.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Mark Hobbs officiating.

Mr. Denning is survived by his wife, Karen Wooten Denning; two sons, Stephen Lee Denning and wife, Kayla, Michael Dean Denning; two step daughters, Lorie Ramsey and Crystal Hall; a brother, George Lonnie Denning; a sister, Annie Ruth Grantham; his mother in law, Nola Wooten; a brother in law and sister in law, Floyd and Lecia Reardon; grandchildren, Stephen Lee Denning, Jr., Hayleigh Denning, Katlyn Denning, Aiden Ramsey, Julianna Hall, Jaylen Gardner and Tae Hall; along with his feline partner, Sugar.
