Shirley Grey (Faulk) Whaley

Shirley Faulk Whaley went to be with her Lord and Savior  the morning of January 26th, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie (JC) Whaley, parents, Willis and Effie Baker Faulk, sisters, Virginia Tillman, Barbara Williams and two brothers, Clinton Faulk and Donnie Faulk.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00am at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Ezzell officiating. Family members will greet friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her son, Ronnie Whaley.

Shirley is survived by her children, Johnnie and Angie Whaley, Melinda Sue Strickland, Tony Whaley and Ronnie and Wanda Whaley; her grandchildren, Christy (David) Young, Mandy (Tommy) Hancock, David Williams, Mark (Lindsay) Williams, Tony Whaley, Jr., Johnnie Whaley, Jr., Wayne (Dani Jo) Bryant, Kevin Whaley; her great grandchildren, Kurt Williams, Victoria Young, Allainah Hancock, Haylah Bryant, Paisley Williams, Noah Whaley, Maverick Williams, Isabelle, Young, Ayden Davis;  and a sister, Alice Ezzell.
