Shirley Ann (Zabonick) Merriman

Shirley Ann Zabonick Merriman, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday. Born in Coldwater, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Ethel Nickols Zabonick. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Merriman.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Shirley is survived by her son, Wayne Merriman (Barb); her daughters, Lynette “Midge” Heisler, Penny Merriman (Brett Cronkhite) and Nanette Boldt (Kenny); her grandchildren, Amy, Autumn, Jennifer, Michael, Justin, Jessica and Keon; 14 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Taylor.
