Sherrill Douglas Best

Sherrill Douglas Best, 49, of Mt. Olive passed away Wednesday, July 17th, at his home. He was born on March 13,1975 to Sherman Best and the late Connie Anderson Best. Sherrill was also preceded in death by his grandparents Dallie Dixon & Minnie McCullen Best and Willard Allen & Evelyn Marie Sutton Anderson. 

Left to cherish Sherrill’s memories are his daughter Sunnie Hester, father Sherman Best, sister Toni Fry (David), brother Michael Best (Lindsay), nephew Ethan and niece Kelsey Best. 

Sherrill was a hard working man and worked for many years with his “other Best family” at Best Machine & Fabrication, Inc. in Dudley, NC.

Sherrill was the BEST man that anyone could ever know. With a beautiful smile and a heart of gold, Sherrill was always ready to lend a hand. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and unforgettable memories.

A visitation for family and friends to celebrate Sherrill’s life will be held on Sunday, July 28th between 2 - 4 at Providence Church, 202 Providence Church Road, Goldsboro, NC.
