Sandra Ann (Gay) Dulin

Sandra Gay Dulin, 59, died early Tuesday morning at Wayne UNC Hospital. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late John Harvey Gay and Peggy Vanoster of Dudley. She was also preceded in death by her Dad, Bill Vanoster and her sister, Charlene Gay.

 A service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held on Friday at 7:00pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral  Home with Pastor Lloyd Harris officiating. A committal service will be held Saturday at 11:00am at Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery. Family members will greet friends immediately following the service on Friday evening and at other times will be at the home of Ray and Kathy Smith.

 In addition to her mother, Sandra is survived by her sons, Eric Alphin and wife, Jennifer and Adam Alphin and wife, Brittany; a sister, Angel Gay Oakley; six grandchildren, Aubree Alphin, Kendall Alphin, Taygen Alphin, Braxton Alphin, Alexia Alphin, Jaehlei Alphin and Jaslyn Hill; numerous nieces and nephews, including Miranda Burroughs who was like her sister.
