Sachiko (Kushi) Pearson

Sachiko Kushi Pearson, age 88, passed away Friday morning at Transitions Hospice in Garner, NC. Born in Okinawa, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Jyojyu and Tsuru Kushi. On June 18, 1958, she married the late Darrell W. Pearson.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will visit with family and friends at the graveside following the service.

Mrs. Pearson is survived by James A. “Drew” Pearson & wife, Donna; her daughter, Carolyn P. Braswell & husband, Jim; her grandchildren, Meredith Howell (Jason), James Braswell III (Danielle), Kyle Pearson (Olivia) and Matthew Pearson (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Charlotte Howell and Ethan Howell; her sister, Toshiko Kushi Haruo.
