Ruth (Dubois) Robinson

Ruth Dubois Robinson, age 79, passed away peacefully Saturday morning at the home of her daughter. Born in Wayne County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Dubois and Myrtle Christine Blackwell. She was the wife of the late Donald Allen Robinson.  Ruth worked with WAGES/Headstart for many years caring for children. She was a faithful member of United In Christ Church as they were a close part of her family.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Ira Williford and Rev. Ethel Peterson officiating.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service at the funeral home. A committal service will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Herring King; her grandchildren, Jessica Trull (Jason), Christina King, Dale King (Whitney) and Christopher King; her great grandchildren, Molly Trull, Dylan Trull, Carson Trull and Daxton King; her sister in Christ, Ethel Peterson; special family friend, Debra Davis; her niece, Wanda Dubois; her nephews, A.J. Dubois, Paul Dubois, Travis Dubois, and Lawton Brannen.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Dubois.
