Ruby (Kearney) Barker

Ruby Kearney Barker, born in Snow Hill, passed away Sunday at the age of 93 in Moncure, NC. She was the daughter of the late William Morgan Kearney and Carrie Wade Kearney and was the wife of the late Clyde E. Barker. Mrs. Barker was an interior designer for Sears.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barker is survived by her children, Jim Kearney, Lynn Finnegan, and Rebecca Brocker; sisters, Sarah Kearney and Carol Lanaville; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her children, Clyde Barker, Donald Barker, Katherine Barker Adkins; 3 brothers; and a sister.
