Robert Shelton Wiggs

Robert Shelton Wiggs, 88, died Thursday at his residence. Born in Durham County, he was the son of the late Robert C. Wiggs and Pearl Pearce Wiggs and husband of the late Dora LaVerne Kleinert Wiggs. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Elizabeth Johnson. Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force and a member of The First Church in Goldsboro.  

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am at Wayne Memorial Park with Chaplain Ramon Mizell officiating.

Mr. Wiggs is survived by a son, Robert Alan Wiggs; a sister, Sandra McIver; along with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a very special caregiver Carolyn Banks.
