Robert Lee Mitchell

Robert Lee "The Great One" Mitchell passed away Friday at his residence. Born in Wake County, he is the son of Mary Evans. He was the owner and operator of Robert’s Tree Service for 21 years. He enjoyed fishing, drag racing, working with his animals. Robert was loved and respected by many in his community.

A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in Woodland Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by a daughter, Destiny Mitchell and his best friend, Todd Garris.
