Robert E. MacDonald, 82, of Dudley passed away at his residence Sunday. He was the son of the late Earl Rudolph and Sylvia Johnson MacDonald, and was the husband of Fumiko MacDonald. Mr. MacDonald was a retired MSGT in the United States Air Force Veteran. Robert was a retired machinist for Baker Perkins/APV. He was a skilled woodworker and guitar player.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, N.C. with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, Mr. MacDonald is survived by his children, Lonny MacDonald and wife, Rachelle of Pembroke Pines, FL, Peter MacDonald and wife, Josephine of Davie, FL, and Colleen Grice and husband, Weldon of Wilmington; a sister, Lourraine Clough of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Charles MacDonald, Nicholas MacDonald, Kaycee Grice, Logan Grice, William MacDonald, James MacDonald; great grandchildren, Michael and Melannie MacDonald.
