Penny Jean (Davis) Westover

Penny Jean Davis Westover, age 60, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday evening. Born in Sault St. Marie, MI, she was the daughter of the late Freddie Brewer Davis and Avis Marie Rye Davis. She met her husband, Don, many times while growing up and once again as adults. This brought them together in marriage on April 14, 1990. As she could not have children, she filled her life with teaching many children in Christian Daycares. Penny enjoyed many types of crafts, such as quilting, painting as well as many others that she was exceptionally talented with.

Penny is survived by her husband, Donald Clifford Westover; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard Brian and Gail Davis.

A service to celebrate Penny's life will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 10:00 am at Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 300 S. Madison Avenue, Goldsboro, NC. A visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service in the church Worship Center.
