Peggy Ann (Price) Williams

Peggy Price Williams, 78, of Seven Springs passed away Saturday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Wayne county, she was the daughter of the late Dempsey and Alma Baker Price, and was the wife of John Williams. Mrs. Williams was a retired Cafeteria worker for Wayne County Public Schools.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am in the Piney Grove Cemetery with Father James Garneau officiating.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Lynn Williams of Seven Springs; sisters, Polly Grady and Pansy Dixon and husband, Edward all of Seven Springs; brothers, Franklin Price and wife, Audrey of Greensboro, David Price and wife, Darlene of Goldsboro, and Jeff Price and wife, Amanda of Goldsboro; grandsons, Brandon Adams and Matthew Ward; and a great granddaughter, Halona Ward.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her son, John Anthony “Tony” Williams.
