Paul Pate Obituary

Paul Franklin Pate, age 79, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the El Camino Health Center in Santa Clara, CA. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Arnold Pate and Lillian O’Berry Pate.

A service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Dexter officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Paul is survived by his brother, Ronald Kenneth Pate.
