Paul Allen Holmes, age 58, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, at his home. He is the son of Walter Wayne Holmes and the late Judy Nichols Westbrook. His longest employment was with Dewey Brothers where he learned trade of welding, becoming a certified welder. He took that knowledge and passion with him. He also worked for Goldsboro Iron & Scrap Metal for many years, until he became disabled. He enjoyed working on cars and playing games with his boys. Often placing the need of others before his own, a very humble man; A simple man who would give you the shirt off his back, a defender of all. He was loved by so many. To friends and family they would simply describe him as their superman.
A service to celebrate the life of Paul Allen Holmes will be held by the graveside at Patetown Cemetery on Tuesday, March 4,th 2025, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Brian Gay officiating. The family will greet friends and family briefly following the service at the cemetery.
