Patricia Lynn Collier

Patricia Lynn Collier was born to Bobby and Annie Lou Collier on January 14, 1963. A lifelong resident of Wayne County, she attended Goldsboro Christian School and graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School. She accepted the Lord as her Savior in elementary school. She passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, after a long illness.

Patricia is survived by her three brothers and their wives: Robbie and Ruby Collier of Goldsboro, Kevin and Rebecca Collier of Kinston, and Douglas and April Collier of Raleigh. Also special to Patricia were her aunt and uncle Linda and Ronald Moore and her Aunt Clara Faye Herner. There are also several cousins: Philip Herner, Sharon Price, Mary Beth Herner, Rhonda Volkan, Wes Moore, Amy Bruton, Julie Bailey, Sam Collier and Suzanne Johnson. As well as eleven nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Reverend Walter Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in the Pikeville Cemetery. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, August 30. 2026 from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
