Pamela "Pam" Denise (Harvey) Daniels

Pamela “Pam” Harvey Daniels, 64, passed away on Saturday at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern. She was the daughter of the late Charles Alvin and Frances Harvey, and Helen Walsonovich, and was the wife of Thurman C. Daniels Sr. Pam was a member of Unity Fellowship Church, and a retired bus driver for Wayne County Schools She was a selfless and compassionate person, and loved her family very much. For the first five years that she was married, she was a Marine Corps wife.

A service to celebrate Pam’s life will be held Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Luke Davis and Kelvin Gurley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.

In addition to her husband of 45 years, Pam is survived by her children, Dan Daniels and wife, Shannon, Natalie Gibble and husband, Rex, and Tim Daniels and wife, Melanie; grandchildren, Leia Davis and husband, Luke, Alexis Clevenger and fiancé, Donnell Johnson; Evan Daniels, Tagan Daniels, Kyler Daniels, Cullen Daniels, and Savana Daniels; great grandchildren, Lynnon Davis and Freya Johnson; brothers, Gerald Harvey and wife, Angela and Michael Harvey; sisters, Sonia Munker, Deborah Harvey, Kim Wooden and husband, Paul, Connie Carson and husband, Mike, Vanessa Bain and husband, Don, and Valerie Murray.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her brothers, Alvin and Beryl Harvey; and sisters, Sharon Wood, Michelle Barnes, Karen McLane and husband Richard.
