Nelson Elwood Lee

Nelson Elwood Lee, age 77, died Tuesday at his residence.  Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Corbit Lee and Georgia Grady Lee and father of the late Terry Lee. A farmer, he attended Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Dail and Rev. James Herring officiating. Family members will greet friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.

Nelson is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lee; his children, Michael Lee and Nancy Lee; his brothers, Jimmy Lee and Tom and Emily Lee; a sister, Lois Thornton; daughter in law, Teresa Lee; his grandchildren, Ashley and Dominique Lee; Michael Lee, Jr. and wife, Katherine, Megan Lee and fiancée Chris Lee, and Kevin Lee.
