Mary Sauls Obituary
Mary Ann Cheek Sauls, 84, of Wilson, passed away on Sunday. She was the daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Sadie Ragan Cheek, and the widow of the late Franklin Durwood Sauls. Mrs. Sauls was a retired nursery designer for Sunshine Garden Center.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Park at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating.
Mrs. Sauls is survived by her children, Christopher Sauls and wife, Merry of Wilson, Marion Wayne Hewett of Houston, TX, Franklin Sauls Jr. “Frank” and wife, Anna of Danville, VA, Ricky Hewett and wife, Jackie of Summerville, SC, and Rhonda H. Bowen and husband, Richard of Morewell Victoria, Australia; a sister, Dorothy “Dot” Oakes of Mebane; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Robert E. Cheek, Ida Seagrove, Dan Wallace Cheek, and Peggy Joe Hadley.
