Marvin W. O'Neal

Marvin Wayne O’Neal, age 80, died Tuesday at Wayne UNC Healthcare. Born in Beaufort County, NC, he was the son of the late Ralph B. O’Neal and Viola Jones O’Neal and husband of the late Pearl P. O’Neal. He attended Trinity Baptist Church and was retired from the U. S. Navy. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Manteo Masonic Lodge #521 and the Sudan Temple Shrine.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00am at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating.

Mr. O’Neal is survived by his wife, Hazel Moore O’Neal; a step son, Gordon Hinson, Jr.; a brother, Bryon O’Neal; a sister, Peggy Autry; and two step grandchildren.
