Martin Chase Peters

Martin Chase Peters, age 83, passed away Monday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.  Born in Swanton, OH, he was the son of the late Leonard Jon and Laura Louise Chase Peters. He was the husband of the late Leah Rae Peters.  A veteran of the United States Air Force, he served our country for 24 years and retired as a Senior Mst/Sgt. He furthered his career in the maintenance department of Wayne Community College.

A Graveside Service, with full military honors, will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating.

Mr. Peters is survived by his children, Gerald Peters, Daniel Peters (Brenda), Sandra Ramirez (Bert) and Jeffrey Peters (Margaret);  sister, Carol Poorman; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
