Mark Jason Sharp

Mark Jason Sharp passed away Friday at Wayne UNC Hospital. He was born in Harris County, Mississippi to the late Betty Sharp. Mark was a self-employed construction worker. He loved to help others no matter their situation. In his spare time, he could be found at the outer banks fishing for Drum. He was an amazing friend and the heart of his family.

The family is planning a service for Mark at a later date.

Mark is survived by his children, Christopher Scott Sharp and wife, Abi of Goldsboro, Ryan Christopher Sharp of Goldsboro, and Elizabeth Cheyenne Sharp of Goldsboro; brothers, Clark Nathan Sharp of Goldsboro,  Kenneth Rodney Sharp of Goldsboro, and Chris Barrletter and family; granddaughter, Emma Jo Sharp; special friends, Kurt Fisher, Jeff Teachey, Michael Goodman, Crystal Sharp, Brandy Smith, Mary and Donna Passarello, April Barrletter, Kenneth Ward, Steve Strickland, Michael Flowers, and many more friends; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, a grandson, Christian Gage Kimbrough preceded him in death.
