Marion Young-Perkins

Marion Young-Perkins, age 75, was born in Charlottesville, VA to the late John Kelly Johnson and Marion Lewis Way and wife of the late, Elwood Young, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Patrick Kelly Young and Wesley Tyrell Young, her brother, Melvin Lewis, a sister, Joann Lewis and a great grandchild, Malachi.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Sunday at 1:00pm in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Scott officiating.

Marion is survived by her son, Francis Young and wife, ReNeeta; a daughter, Valerie Taylor and husband, Brian; a sister, Kathy Lewis Sheppard and husband, George; grandchildren, Tyrell, Joshua, Shakyma, Krystal, Pamela, Makayla, Leslie, Talacia, Jeremiah; and great grandchildren, Sarenity, Kori, Tyrell, and Sariah.
