Marie (Wallace) Andrews

Marie Wallace Andrews, age 72, died Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.  Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Jim Wallace and Frances Mills Wallace Hicks.  A member of Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church, she ran a home daycare for 15 years and was a nutritionist for the Wayne County Cooperative Extension for over 20 years.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday at 6:30 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Stallings officiating.  A visitation will be held for family and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Marie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Carl Haywood Andrews, Jr.; two daughters, Sara A. Paim & husband, Jonathan and Karen Wallace & husband, Terry;  three sons, Eugene Lee Harris, Jr. & wife, Angela, John Paul Andrews & wife, Alli, Christopher Stephen Andrews & wife, Tracie; mother-in-law, Reba Doris Jones Andrews; grandchildren, Benjamin Kincaid, Jacob Harris, Sophia Harris, TJ Wallace, Jessica Wallace, CJ Andrews, Jordyn Andrews and Baylee Andrews

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Wayne County 4-H, 3114 B Wayne Memorial Drive, NC  27534.
