Marguerite (Strickland) Lowery

Marguerite S. Lowery, 87, passed away Sunday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She is the daughter of the late Evander Edgar and Ludie T. Strickland, and is the wife of the late George C. Lowery. She was an owner and operator of the Virgilina Market.

A graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tom Murray officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Lowery is survived by her son, Michael Lowery and wife, Karla of FL;  grandchildren, Tanner and Colton; nieces and nephews, Tom Murray and wife, Annette, Jesse Murray, Rosa Lamm and husband, Carl, and Margaret Tyndall, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
