Marguerite (Morris) Boyette

Marguerite Morris Boyette, age 98, passed away Thursday. Born in South Hampton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harmon Clarence and Mary Ricks Morris and wife of the late Clarence Robert Boyette. She was also preceded in death by a daughter in law, Shirley Boyette. Marguerite was a dedicated member of First Free Will Baptist Church since 1937, living her life for the Lord as a member of the Women’s Auxiliary, the Friendly Cora Mitchell Sunday School Class and the Senior Sunbeams.

A service of love and remembrance will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Otis Hamm officiating. Committal services will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Boyette is survived by her sons, Steve Boyette, David (Bonnie) Boyette and Andy Boyette; a sister, Shirley Zartman and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, 604 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
