Margie Dixon Price, age 91, of the Rosewood Community passed away Sunday morning at her home. She was the daughter of the late Ivey O. Dixon and Margaret Price Dixon. Her husband Sam Jay Price and daughter Karen Louise Price, along with her brother Walter E. Dixon preceded her in death. She was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church and a member of Woodmen of the World. For many years she was a hairdresser and also retired from Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate Margie’s life will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Dr. Tim Lipp officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs. The family will receive friends Monday, December 2, 2024, between the hours of 7:00PM and 9:00 PM at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Margie is survived by her son, Tony Alan Price; her grandchildren Misty Lynn Sisco and Todd A. Price.
