Linda (Mauldin) Anderson

Linda Mauldin Anderson, age 78, passed away Saturday, April 12th at Wayne UNC Healthcare. Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Brown Mauldin and Katie Philmon Mauldin and sister of the late, Phyllis Best. Linda was a member of Pine Forest Methodist Church and was co-founder of the church Prayer Shawl Ministry. Linda was a dedicated wife of 57 years to George.

A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 16th at 2:00 pm at the Pine Forest Church with Rev. Christian Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Linda is survived by her husband, George Anderson; a son, Micheal Anderson and his wife, Beverly; a daughter, Michelle Teague and her husband, Kemp; a brother-in-law, Benny Best and brother-in-law, Bobby Anderson and his wife, Pat; her grandchildren, Katie Smith and husband, Ryan, Sarah Anderson, Mary Anderson, Grant Anderson, Bailey Teague and Hayden Teague.
