Larry Nelson Stump

Larry Nelson Stump, age 73, of Dudley, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Wayne/UNC Health Care.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Rouse Stump; two sons, Chris Torrens and Chris Rouse; sisters, Janice Mayo, Edith Turner and Sandy Cobb; seven grandchildren, Alex, Jamie, Caden T., Taylor Ray, Caden R., Carter and Christa.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ruby and Levi J. Stump; brother, Jimmy G. Stump, and his son, Benjamin D. Stump.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
