Larry Alan Patterson

Larry Alan Patterson, 74, of Dudley passed away Thursday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Graham Roosevelt and Kathleen Sellers Patterson, and was the husband of Brenda Pigott Patterson. Larry loved the Lord and served him faithfully. He was a devoted husband, and loved his family dearly. He never met a stranger, and was willing to help anyone at any time. Larry was also a United States Army veteran.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 in Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Edward Delisle and Daniel Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

In addition to his wife, Brenda of 39 years, Larry is survived by his children, David Patterson and wife, Ashley of  Pikeville, Rosemary Patterson of Whiteville, Cassandra Patterson and wife, Dawn of Whiteville, and Julia Turnage and husband, Ralph of Mt. Olive; sisters, Betty Patterson of Whiteville, Teresa Parker and husband, Tony of Boardman, and Lisa Patterson-Greene of Whiteville; grandchildren, Sarah, Jared, Hunter, Kylie, Allysin, Paisley, Dane, and Liv; great grandson, Preston; and several nieces and nephews.
