Kenneth Renn, Sr. Obituary

Kenneth Earl Renn, Sr., age 80, of Goldsboro passed away Thursday evening March 27, 2025 at UNC Wayne Health Care in Goldsboro.  He was born in Norfolk, VA  to the late O. B. Renn & Sallie Warren Renn.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Earl Renn, Jr. and his siblings, Julius Clifton “J.C.” Renn, Barbara Jean Renn Fischer and Margaret Joyce Renn. Kenneth was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM by the graveside at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating .  The family will have a time of visitation with family and friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM-1:45 PM at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, prior to the graveside service.

Kenneth is survived by his “wife” Brenda Jackson; his children; William R. Renn (Vickie), Clifton Bryant Renn (Andrea Williams), Tara Renn Deviney (Richard); brother, James Bennett Renn (Di); grandchildren, Matt Simpson, Jacob Simpson, Daniel Deviney, Jordan Deviney, Gabe Gurley, Christian Renn, Kaitlyn Williams, Dakota Haswell, Matthew Renn, Rachel Renn, Michael Whitley, Jennifer Beasley, and Kelly Edwards; great grandchildren, Madison Beasley, Kayla Beasley, Lance Edwards,  Anna Lloyd, Ellie Renn, Violett  Renn, Emerson Renn, Phoenix Renn, Micah Whitley, and Mila Whitley.
