Kelly Regina (Dale) Grady

March 20, 1975 – March 21, 2024

Kelly Regina Dale Grady, 49, of Smith Chapel community passed away at her home on Thursday March 21, 2024.  Kelly was born in Wayne County.  A 1993 graduate of Hobbton High School.   She was preceded in death by her son Cameron Neil Thornton, also her brother Ricky Dale preceded her in death.

A service to celebrate Kelly’s  life will be held Tuesday March 26, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.  Rev. Steve Sprinkle will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Grady of the home, daughters Maggie Peyton Thornton of Newton Grove, Hayley Grady of Goldsboro. Father Thomas Dale of Goldsboro. Mother Shirley Holstein and husband Larry of Newton Grove. Sisters Rose Whitmire (Terry) of Pikeville, Lorie Dale of Goldsboro. She is also survived by several Neices and Nephews,  And Special friend C.M. Britt of Mount Olive.
