Kaye (Jones) Edwards

Kaye Jones Edwards, age 75, passed away early Monday morning at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.  Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Daniel Jones and the late Margaret Mae Hinson Jones and sister of the late Roy Jones. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.

A service to celebrate Kaye’s life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Kaye is survived by her husband, Larry Maxton Edwards; a daughter, Melissa Edwards; a son and daughter in law, Michael and Beverley Edwards; a sister, Linda Jones Baughman; and three grandchildren, Anna Edwards, Sophie Edwards and Laura Edwards.
