Kathryn Belle (Sutton) Wallace

Our Mother, Kathryn Belle Sutton Boyette Wallace is now with Jesus Christ. She is on a journey, that she has been planning for 95 years! We are writing this today, to celebrate her glorious and happy trip to Heaven! Let there be only tears of joy today, for that is what she would tell you! She has suffered and struggled long enough! Almighty God has a plan and he is fulfilling his promise to my mother, that who so ever shall fully believe and ask forgiveness of their sins and to forgive all those, that have trespassed against you, your everlasting soul shall live forever more!

 Mike and Patsy, Michelle and Wendy and I over the last 6 years have taken turns visiting and caring for our Mother! In the beginning everything worked very smoothly! The dementia gradually took control! The confusion and forgetfulness and attacks on my mother’s mind and actions were at times overbearing and unbearable for her and us! We knew that Almighty God was in control, but many times, we were on the brink of having to place her in an assisted living facility. Mike and I discussed and cried and prayed that her condition would improve, it never did. Learning to cope with this total sickness would not have been possible, without the life lessons that our parents always taught us! We witnessed how and why, they raised us, to always honor and respect your  family and never, ever give up! Our heartfelt prayers go out to everyone in this situation, you are not here by choice, you are here because of your duty to your parents and the belief that Almighty God can and will see you thru this struggle!

We want to thank all that have visited and prayed for our family! We want to thank the staff at Kitty Askins and Eagles Point assisted Living for their professional and caring help! In lieu flowers, we ask that donations be gifted to Kitty Askins. We especially want to thank The First Free Will Baptist Church in La Grange, N.C. for their help and guidance in preparing for this day! We want to thank Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home for their professional guidance and help!

Kathryn Belle Sutton Boyette Wallace dob-October 24,1924 was Promoted to Glory on February 24, 2020 at 3:47am. She is survived by two Son’s and wives, Daniel E Boyette and wife Wendy, Michael Todd Boyette and wife Patsy. She has three Grandchildren, Michelle Boyette and Friend Terry McLamb, and Jenny Boyette, five Great Grandchildren, Jessica, Lauren, Amber, Haleigh and Chris. GG Grandsons Braxton Hill and Sawyer Riggs. She has several GG Grandchildren. Two Step Grandchildren, Kristy and Scott Blackburn. She was preceded in death by a Son, Jeffery Lloyd Boyette, Husband Lloyd Earl Boyette, Husband Clem Wallace, her Father Edmond Francis Sutton, her Mother Kathryn Belle Sutton, Sisters, Louise Gleason, Lottie Hoover, Edna Worley, Josephine Kannon and Francis Van Hoy.

She loved her family and was true to her family her entire life!

Funeral Services will held Friday, February 28, 1:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Hobgood officiating.  Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
