Kathleen Joyce (Turnage) Lane

Kathleen Turnage Lane, 80, passed away Wednesday at the Brian Center. She is the daughter of the late Charlie and Letha W. Turnage, and wife of the late Bobby Lane. Mrs. Lane was a loving mother and worked hard to take care of her family. She attended Zion United Methodist Church and lived her life for the Lord.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the Turnage Family cemetery with Rev. Doug Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lane is survived by her children, Billy Lane of Seven Springs, Joyce Foss of Dudley, and Bobbie Lane of Dudley; a brother, Marvin Turnage and wife, Becky of Goldsboro; sisters, Mildred Jones and Mary Ann; special friends, Sonny Kilpatrick and wife, Jennie, Jennifer Hartley and husband, Jim, and Kelsey Hartley; and her many church family members.
