Katherine Elizabeth Trogdon

Katherine Elizabeth Trogdon, age 61, passed away Tuesday at her mother’s home. Born in Wayne County, NC, she was the daughter of Doris Elks Jones and the late George Thornton. She was a member of Antioch Free Will Baptist Church.

A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Elks-Jones Family Cemetery 1158 Antioch Road NE Pikeville, NC, with Rev. Greg Stancil officiating.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband, Earl Fisher Trogdon; her children, Barbara Thornton, Christopher Ryan Trogdon, Jessica Ashley White, Amanda Hope Howell (Marshall) and Bridget Lynette Trogdon; her grandchildren, Alie Thornton-Boswell & Dee Warren, Jernie & Jackson Mooring, Erin & Athena Howell, Millie Warren, Adrieyl Johnson and Liam Trogdon; her siblings, Steve Thornton, Ann Thornton, Angela Rose, Janice Miller and Danny Frank.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Buzz Thornton, Danny Thornton and Mawan Bunn, also a grandson, Dylan Lee Warren preceded her in death.
