Judith Leah Ballard

Judith Leah (Bedford) Ballard of Dudley, NC passed away early Monday, May 3, 2021.  She was born December 13, 1940 in Aurora, Illinois to Ralph and Wilma (Buckwalter) Bedford.  When she was able, she enjoyed going to Bingo and garage sales and spending time with her family.  Judith was formerly from Earlville, Illinois where she lived with her husband of 48 years, John Ballard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John in April, 2019, her parents, her sisters, Kay (Kenneth) Morey, Joyce Clements, Vera Patterson, Linda Bell and her brother, Robert (Sue) Bedford, her granddaughter, Misti Smith and her great grandson, Trevor Smith. 

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Eddie) Lovelace of Dudley, Marla Buchanan of Middleton, WI, Scott Buchanan of Yuma, AZ, 3 step grandchildren, Russell Ballard of TX, LaVonda (Jeff) Dolan of Illinois and Tracy (Mitzi) Ballard of Missouri, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

According to her wishes, there will be no services.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
