Jose Javier ("Javi") Martinez

Jose Javier Martinez, age 44, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 8. Born in Wayne County, Jose was the son of the late Jose “Joe” Martinez and Pamela Saldivar of Wayne County. Jose loved to fish, eat and spend time with those he cared about. He was a people person with a big heart. Heavy equipment and sitework grading were his passion.

Private services will be held.

In addition to his mother, Pamela, Jose is survived by his wife, Laura Martinez; sons, Riley Martinez, Zander Martinez and his wife, Allison Gussenhofen and Daniel Denning; his brothers, Shon Westbrook and his wife, Tina, Juan Martinez, Mario Martinez and Bryan Martinez; sisters, Priscilla Martinez, Jaynie Martinez, and Yessica Ruiz.
