Jody Eugene Petway

Jody Petway, 65, of Snow Hill passed away on Tuesday at his home. He was the son of the late Billy Guy and Alma Regina Reed Petway. Jody had been an automotive technician for Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed playing video games, working on vehicles, cooking, spending time with his family, and dogs. Jody was always willing to help others when he could.

The family will hold a service of celebration at a later date in Pennsylvania.

Jody is survived by his siblings, Sharon Booth and husband, Donald of Glenrock, PA, Billy Guy Petway Jr. of Snow Hill, NC, Kathy Mitzel and husband, Ronald of York, PA, Dorisjean Theresa Frazier and husband, Harold of Windsor, PA, and Mickey Allen Petway and wife, Dee of Dudley, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
