Jesse Joseph Brickhouse

Jesse Joseph Brickhouse, age 64, passed away Wednesday at his home.  Born in Orlando, FL, he was the son of Marie T. Brickhouse and the late Joseph Claude Brickhouse. Jesse was a 1976 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and was retired from Duke Energy after 36 years of service.  He loved his family, friends and especially his grandson, Jackson, as well as living at Sleepy Creek.  His family will always cherish special phone calls telling him they loved him and his touching response “so much”.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at 12:00 pm in Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of his sister, Mary Dubberly.

Along with his mother, Jesse is survived by his son, Joseph Braxton Brickhouse; his grandson, Jackson Taylor Brickhouse; his sisters, Terry Scott (Rod), Mary Dubberly and Jeanne Jones; his brother, Kenneth Brickhouse.
