Jerry Bryant Mozingo

Jerry Bryant Mozingo, age 73, passed away Saturday. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Ressie & Eloise Hill Mozingo and husband of the late Sheila Burris Mozingo.

A service to celebrate Jerry’s life will be held Sunday, October 31 at 3:00pm at the Gurley Family Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the grave immediately following the service.

Jerry is survived by his fiancée, Maureen McCullen; brothers, James Allen Mozingo and wife, Donna, Gene Mozingo and wife, Edna; sisters, Frances Mozingo, Louise Chase and husband, Reuben, Betty Sears and husband, John; step daughters, Donna Ellis and husband, Thomas, Lorraine Gurganus, Julie Gregory; along with nephews and nieces that he loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
