Jeffrey Sherrill Herring

Jeffrey Sherrill Herring, age 53, died suddenly on May 22. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Bruce Sherrill Herring and Carol J. Herring of Dudley.

A memorial service will be held Monday at 7:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with Sharon Holmes officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

In addition to his mother, Jeffrey is survived by his son, Camaron Cain Herring; a brother, Steven Scott Herring; his uncles, Melvin Ray Herritt and wife; Johnny Herring and wife; Glenn Herring, Michael Herring and the late Elton Herring; his aunts, Joyce Carnly and husband; Edith and husband and Betty Jo and Husband.
