James "Jimmy" Daniel Burchett, Jr.

James “Jimmy” Daniel Burchett, Jr., age 55, passed away at home Tuesday morning.  Born in Man, West Virginia, he was the son of Barbara Ellen Burchett and the late James Daniel Burchett, Sr.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Michael L. Lewis officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Thornton Burchett;  son, James Daniel Burchett, III (Jamie Lynn);  daughter, Jamie Danielle Burchett;  step children, Joey Avery, Noah Sauls and Jenna Sauls;  sisters, Lowanna Burchett (Misti Howell) and Labecka Madrigal;  five grandchildren, Jayden Burchett, Leiland Cobb, Landon Mundo, Logan Mundo and Paylin Burchett;  mother-in-law, Shirley G. Gronovius;  brother-in-law, Thomas Thornton, Jr.; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his step son, Allan Michael Sauls.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
