James Tucker

James Tucker, age 61, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at his home. Born in Wayne County, NC, he was the son of the late Joe J. Tucker and Emma Rochelle Mosley. He was employed with Greene County Health Care as an IT Director.

A gathering of friends to remember his life will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert Tucker & wife, Donya and their son, Travis and Grandchildren, John Tucker & wife, Robin and their children, Candace, Randy, Kendra, Justin, Clint, Dustin & Weston; his sister, Rita Stukes; niece, Marissa (Justin) and their children, Madison, Allison and Emilou; nephew, Ross; aunts, Mary, DeeDee, Frances and Glennie; uncle, Bill; special friends Joe and Wes Stainback, Hillary; work family at Greene County Health Care; numerous cousins, friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Wayne County Relay for Life.
